As a Country Texan raised in Oakland, CA Tristan’s comedy, like his upbringing, is best described as adaptable. No matter the setting, whether it’s a church function, as a comedy club regular, or at a wet t-shirt contest at a rooftop bar, he can easily adapt to win over any crowd. His bright personality and infectious enthusiasm can transform any audience into what can best be described as a heightened state of funny! His outlook on what some may see as ordinary and his descriptions of what can only be described as hilarious will have you laughing with him throughout any show he’s a part of.
Tristan has performed and advanced in well known, reputable competitions such as The Bay Area Black and The World Series of Comedy: Las Vegas. He has opened up for comedic acts such as Dc Young Fly, Desi Banks, Redd Grant, and Luenell as well as for Comedian Tacara Williams at The Super Funny Comedy Club in 2021. He has also been the Master of Ceremony for the Black Nurses Rock-Northen California (Bay Area) 2019 and the Speaker of Commencement 2019 at Solano Community College-Fairfield
Tristan not only blazes comedy club stages across the nation he brings down the Church House… with laughter performing at over 150 churches worldwide! He is the creator of one of Northern California’s MOST EPIC comedy rooms in Del Paso Heights NUTTY MONDAYS and has written, produced, and edited bits and sketches such as “Trissies_Investigations” , and “The SNITCH Hair Unit” which can all be found on his YouTube @tristanfunny Johnson.
