Amanda Cohen is your best nightmare: a junior crone with a sharp sense of irony who will challenge your assumptions about women of a certain age, and she’s nobody’s mom.
Born in Boston, she started doing comedy at the age of 17 and was on the road as a pro before graduating college in Pittsburgh where she was a regular at the Funny Bone.
She moved to Chicago to study improv at the Second City Conservatory, The Annoyance Theater, and ComedySportz, and performed at The Laugh Factory and Zanies in Chicago.
Since moving to LA in 2017, she’s performed at the Hollywood Improv, The Comedy Store, and Flappers in Burbank where she’s a regular. She also features and headlines all over the country. She placed in the Top 16 in the World Series of Comedy in 2019 and 2020 and performed at the SLO Comedy Festival in 2022.
