Round two of the 48th San Francisco Comedy Competition comes to Oakland for a great night of comedy.

Journey back to the vaudeville days of yore with this wild night of comedy. This charming little hamlet with a bustling downtown area hopes to put itself on the map with comedy fans as a Labor Day weekend destination.

15 comics compete to see who advances to the Semifinals. Only five advance. The rest go home. The Guild offers one of the best nights of the San Francisco Comedy Competition because you can see a wide range of comics emerging from around North America.

The best from round one meet the best from round two at this palatial artists retreat. The Semifinals move to Saratoga to the Carriage House Theatre at the Montalvo Arts Center.
