Opening Night: The Battery: San Francisco (Private Show)

Opening Night of the 49th San Francisco Comedy Competition kicks off with 16 comics from around the world. Only five advance, the rest walk home. Round Two also at the Battery features comics from around the world making their first appearance in the United States.
For club members, the show takes place in the Parlor Bar.
Doors open at 7:00 PM, so get there early, grab a good seat, and get ready to laugh.
This is a private show, not open to the public. However, there is a show a few miles away at The Function on Saturday, August 30 and Saturday, September 6.

About The Competition
The San Francisco Comedy Competition is one of the most prestigious comedy events in North America, launching the careers of notable comedians such as Patton Oswalt, Robin Williams, and Ellen DeGeneres. It’s an outrageously funny evening, where you will see the comedy stars of tomorrow competing for their chance at fame and fortune. Hundreds of comedians audition each year to compete, but only 32 are chosen.
