LABOR DAY WEEKEND MATINEE!— All roads lead to Orinda for our special afternoon show at the wonderful Orinda Theater on Sunday, Sept 1 at 2 pm! Journey back to the vaudeville days of yore with this Sunday matinee performance.

The 48th San Francisco Comedy Competition brings the first week of Preliminaries with 15 comics from around the world. They are competing for just five slots to advance to the Semifinals.

The San Francisco Comedy Competition is one of the most prestigious comedy events in North America, launching the careers of people like Patton Oswalt, Robin Williams and Ellen DeGeneres. It’s an outrageously funny evening, where you will see the comedy stars of tomorrow competing for their chance at fame and fortune. Hundreds of comedians audition each year to compete. Only 32 are chosen.

Tony Camin has appeared on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Real Time with Bill Maher, and lots of other shows that have been cancelled. He’s performed at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal as well as The HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and the Melbourne Comedy festival in Australia. As an in-demand writer of awesome “comedic” humor, Tony has written on programs for NBC, VH1, and Comedy Central. He is also a co-creator and performer of the hit off-Broadway play and Crown Paperback book The Marijuana-Logues.
