Luther Burbank Center: Santa Rosa

This is it! It’s the jewel in the crown of our competition venues. It’s the place our contestants have been hearing about for years leading up to their involvement in the event. A former tabernacle, its sight lines and sound quality are in a league of their own.

This is the last night of Semifinals for the 49th San Francisco Comedy Competition. 10 comics will compete for just five spots for a chance to advance to the Finals.

At this show, we will announce the Final Five comedians of the 2025 Competition.

Your Host: Jackie Flynn

Jackie Flynn is returning to host two shows in the San Francisco Comedy Competition. Jackie Flynn is a Boston-born comedian and actor known for his rapid-fire sarcasm and take-no-prisoners delivery. A winner of the San Francisco Comedy Competition and a Just For Laughs alumni, he’s appeared in Loudermilk, The King of Queens, Veep, and several Farrelly Brothers films including There’s Something About Mary and Me, Myself & Irene. A true comic’s comic, Flynn continues to tour nationally while stealing scenes on screens big and small.

His new Amazon special just dropped so we wanted to not only mention he’s coming back to host our Semifinal shows at the Luther Burbank Center and the Bankhead Theater, but urge you to check out his latest special, Wicked Funny.
