The Guild Theatre: Menlo Park – Early Show

The 49th San Francisco Comedy Competition returns to the Guild Theatre with 15 new comics competing to advance to the Semifinals. Only five advance, the rest walk home.
The Guild offers one of the best nights of the San Francisco Comedy Competition because you can see a wide range of comics emerging from around North America in one venue.
The San Francisco Comedy Competition is one of the most prestigious comedy events in North America, launching the careers of people like Patton Oswalt, Robin Williams and Ellen DeGeneres. It’s an outrageously funny evening, where you will see the comedy stars of tomorrow competing for their chance at fame and fortune. Hundreds of comedians audition each year to compete. Only 32 are chosen.
