Frankie Marcos at the Guild Theatre
November 29 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
2024 San Francisco Comedy Competition winner Frankie Marcos is headlining a show with two other Finalists, Shaheen Khal and Marcus Howard. Past Finalist Maureen Langan is coming out from New York to host.
Shaheen Khal
Shaheen Khal, a Sacramento native from a mixed ethnic background, discovered his passion for performance at a young age. He immersed himself in improv and theater as creative outlets. Despite earning a black belt in karate as a youth and nurturing a background in acting, Shaheen’s dream of becoming a Power Ranger did not pan out. He pivoted to stand-up comedy and has been performing across California ever since.
Marcus Howard
Born and raised in Oakland, Marcus Howard is a comedian who’s been making audiences laugh for years. With a sharp wit and a unique perspective on life, Marcus has become a regular on the Bay Area comedy scene.
He performs regularly with Don’t Tell Comedy and the Alameda Comedy Club, and his comedy touches on everything from kids to race to relationships. Marcus is known for his ability to turn everyday situations into hilarious stories, and he’s not afraid to tackle tough topics with humor and heart. Whether he’s riffing on the absurdities of being a liberal or sharing his thoughts on the state of the world, Marcus is always entertaining, insightful, and funny.
