Laugh off this past year at the Marin Center with finalists of the 2021 San Francisco Stand-up Comedy Competition and featuring our headliner, Dave Williamson.
Headliner: Dave Williamson
After climbing the corporate ladder in his family’s South Florida car business, Dave Williamson decided he liked making his customers smile, but LOVED making them laugh. Since then, he has excelled in almost every domestic Comedy Festival, making the finals or Best of The Fest in the World Series of Comedy, Boston Comedy Festival, San Francisco Comedy Competition, the SLO Comedy Festival, and several others.
Shortly after being named, “Best Comedian in Miami” by the Miami New Times, Dave packed up his family in a 25 foot travel trailer. They traveled with him while he performed all over North America, eventually settling in Los Angeles after 18 months. This trip was documented in a series of shorts on Nickelodeon’s NickMom Channel.
Dave tours heavily, both headlining his own shows and as the supporting act for Bert Kreischer. His second album, “Trying My Hardest” was just released by Stand Up! Records and reached #1 in the iTunes Charts for Comedy. Dave often talks about family, highlighting stories from his youth to navigating the role of father and husband himself. He is obsessed with BBQ, and hosts his own podcast called “Meat Dave”.
Host: Kabir Singh
Kabir Singh, a past Comedy Competition champion who made three appearances on “America’s Got Talent” this summer, will host.
Kabir “Kabeezy” Singh is Fresh off the debut season of “Inside Jokes” on and currently streaming on “Amazon Prime” which premiered in Sept 2018. Kabir is One of the nation’s fastest-rising comedy stars. Kabir Singh is a huge crowd-pleaser with an abundance of energy, an in-your-face attitude and clever material. He stands out as a Star on and off Stage and is regularly loved by Men and Women of all ages. Kabir began his Stand Up Comedy Career in 2009 where within nine months he won the Bay Area Comedy Competition beating 170 other Comedians who were far senior than him in Stand Up which prompted him to focus and 100% dedicate himself to the world of Comedy but, this didn’t just happen overnight. Kabir didn’t just become a Comedian over a decade ago, He has been a Comedian all his life, just not Stand Up till 2009.
Born in 1984 in Portland, Oregon to stereotypical Indian parents, Kabir Singh realized at an early age that it wouldn’t be easy making friends at school. Luckily for Kabir, he soon became known as the funniest Indian kid in Oregon — not too difficult considering he was the only Indian kid in Oregon.
