Who would believe you could have a really great comedy show in a winery in Carmel, it’s not a old wives tale, it’s a Folktale and when the wine flows, a story usually follows.

The late show results are in from the Guild Theatre. Seven different comedians made the Top Five over the last two shows.

The San Francisco Comedy Competition headed to Menlo Park to the Guild Theatre for two shows in one night. These are the results of the first show.

One of the fantastic things about shows in old preserved theaters is you get to see some fabulous interiors that you simply do not see in modern theaters. The Orinda Theatre is such a place with a long history, fantastic marquee and tonight, really great comedy.

The 48th San Francisco Comedy Competition Preliminary Week Two kicked off at the Washington Inn in Oakland with 16 new comics.

The 2024 San Francisco Comedy Competition kicks off Preliminary Week Two this Wednesday with a Comedy Oakland show at the Washington Inn.

We have 16 really great comics in Week One and it would be great to see this show keep running. But it is a content and only the top five comedians move on to compete in the Semifinals.

The Crows Nest is always a wild comedy ride and tonight was no different. Why this show is so notorious has to do with the fact it is the final show of the week. The place has been doing comedy for decades and it’s reputation as a wild venue is well deserved.

The official results are in. Afternoon comedy in an old movie house is a great experience. We had our first tie in fifth place, so there’s seven people in the Top Five.

We are off and running with a sold-out, standing room only crowd at the Battery in San Francisco. This is a private club where you have to be a member. I guess one of the rules is you have to like great comedy. We showed up with 16 comics.

Rumors have been flying since a Sheriff showed up with an arrest warrant during a live broadcast on Instagram on Wednesday.
