2026 San Francisco Comedy Auditions

Auditions for the 50th San Francisco Comedy Competition take place at Emma’s in San Rafael.
Auditioning for the competition: JD Arandia, Laurdes Alon, John Beard, Carla Clay, Doug Cordel, Sarah Guth. Angel Jin, Allbert Lin, Bradley Lum, Adrianna McCain, Alejandro Ochoa, Jamar Pitts, Priya Puram, Dash Renaud, David Rodriguez, and Jonny Stein.
Hosted by Mick Berry, 16 comedians do their best for a chance to be one of the lucky 32 comedians chosen for the event.

Mick Berry has been cited by the San Francisco Chronicle as a “local phenom”. He has written and performed three critically acclaimed one-man shows. Most notably: Keith Moon: The Real Me (best biographical show, spring 2024 United Solo Festival, NYC); Dad Fought Hitler the Bottle and Me (Graz, Austria performance featured in the PBS documentary The Metal Detector).
