Applications Now Being Accepted
The Application Process for the 2023 San Francisco Comedy Competition is now open.
Applications will be accepted April 1 through August 1, 2023.
The 2023 version of the Comedy Competition kicks off September 1, 2023 and ends September 24 at Folktale Winery in Carmel.
Now in it’s 47th year, the San Francisco Comedy Competition is a month-long elimination style comedy competition. Hundreds of comics apply, only 32 are chosen. The competition is a three week commitment from the Preliminary rounds, the Semifinals and a week of Finals. It remains one of the premiere comedy festivals for emerging talent.
Applications for our sister festival, the Seattle International Comedy Competition are being accepted as well.
