Week One Winners
After a wild week of venue changes and great shows, we are proud to announce the comedians moving on to the Semifinals.
A condensed schedule (five shows in three days) made for a wild preliminary round one over Labor Day weekend. Things weren’t made any easier when two days before opening night, it became necessary to reschedule a show. Results were topsy turvy with the outcome as to who would advance into the semi-finals unclear until late Sunday night at the Crow’s Nest in Santa Cruz.
Once the dust settle though, the same top five acts who placed opening night at The Battery in San Francisco made it through. Kudos to all the first round contestants for their great sportsmanship and commendable camaraderie. All no doubt benefitted from the experience.

Sadly only five get to advance, but it was a great week of comedy.
Next week we will have 16 new comics competing for just five slosts to advance to the Semifinals.
