Announcing the 2025 Semifinalists

The Semifinals of the 49th San Francisco Comedy Competition kicks off Tuesday, September 9th at Montalvo Arts Center in Saratoga. The Top Ten comedians compete for just five chances to advance to the Finals. In this round, each comedian gets 10 minutes to impress the judges and the audience. The audience by applause can add a full point to their nightly scores.
