Doug Stanhope Arrested

Rumors have been flying since a Sheriff showed up with an arrest warrant during a live broadcast on Instagram on Wednesday.

The good news is that it was planned. The Cochise Sheriff reached out to Doug to conduct a training exercise.

TMZ reports the raid was planned and Doug knew it was going to happen, but then again, most criminals know one day law enforcement is coming through the door.

We can’t wait to see the episode from his podcast where he posts the entire story. I bet James Inman claims Doug put more work into this stunt than he did in promoting the Unbookables. It’s cute when two past winners of the San Francisco Comedy Competition fight. But that’s another story.
