A Tiki Night in Orinda
One of the fantastic things about shows in old preserved theaters is you get to see some fabulous interiors that you simply do not see in modern theaters. The Orinda Theatre is such a place with a long history, fantastic marquee and tonight, really great comedy.
People commented that the crowd seemed a little older and I explained if you think this crowd is old, wait until you see Rossmoor, a retirement community a few miles away and one of the shows we do in the Finals. Rossmoor is where this crowds parents live.
It was a packed house, well lit and the comics really snapped into form for the show. Kabir Singh is always a pleasure to see as a host. Je is a previous winner, had a great set.In fact, everyone had a great show.
The Top Five
We have had nine comics in the Top Five over the last two shows. The only repeat was Xander Beltran. It goes to show the depth of the field in this week.

The Host
The latest addition to the Orinda Theatre since last year is a tiki bar called the Boo Loo Lounge. It is a wonderful spot in downtown Orinda and definitely worthy of checking out.
Next up is two shows in Menlo Park at the Guild Theatre. Come on by and see a great show.
